The Sinclair C5 is a 1985 small one-person battery electric recumbent tricycle invented by Sir Clive Sinclair (most known internationally as the creator of the ZX Spectrum in 1982). It received a less than enthusiastic reception from the British media. Its sales prospects were blighted by poor reviews and safety concerns expressed by consumer and motoring organisations.
