At the university I got a team assignment focussing on dressing a block-out 2-4 player deathmatch level in UDK. The theme of the art is Game of Thrones: Castle Black (Night Watchs Castle at the wall). My first and main focus was the creation of all the modular exterior brick prefabs and materials. The castle sits within the Blaise Castle Estate, which also includes Blaise Castle House, a Grade II listed 18th-century mansion house. There is a volunteer community group http://www.friendsofblaise.co.uk/ who work with Bristol City Council to conserve, improve and promote the Estate and also open the castle up to visitors (though not a present time due to Coronavirus restrictions).
