The CH-47 Chinook is a heavy-lift helicopter produced by Boeing, with twin engines and, unlike other types of helicopters, double rotors one after the other. Its maximum speed per hour is 315 km/h. Its main task is to transport military unit, artillery unit and ammunition. In order to meet the operational needs of the Turkish Armed Forces, the CH-47 Chinook heavy transport helicopter joined the inventory of the Land Forces Command and began to be used by the Land Aviation Command.
