I was aiming for a Warcraft look (as in Frozen Throne, not necessarily WoW) with limited resolution hand painted textures.
Glow FX were originally done as billboard planes, flickering was achieved by randomly rescaling them; the little bat and moving candle flames were animated by shifting UV - as these techniques are currently unavailable on Sketchfab I edited them out and left a static model with no billboard tracking. As a countermeasure, to make it look better when rotated, I added a tiny tad of postprocessed bloom. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 2694 polygons.

One of the Mount Ruth Logging Company’s many trains, this one working the Grünwaldt Lake branch. I created the locomotive, and entire consist, over the course of one month during the last of my time at Full Sail University.
