For the course Stylised Creation at Howest DAE I made this cute dog. This assignment was focussed on going through the whole pipeline (blockout - sculpting - retopology - UV Layout - texturing - presentation). This little guy was sculpted in ZBrush, retopo and UVs were done in Maya and I used Substance Painter for the final texturing touches.

Made for my final GAP exam at Howest Dae, we had to model a prop that could be found in a mercenary hideout. I decided to model a Sony FX-300 Jackal, a multi-functional portable tv made in 1978. Hello! This is my submission for the first assignment of Stylized Creation for Howest DAE. We were assigned to create a simple game ready character. The sculpt was made in Zbrush, low poly retopo in Maya, baking in Marmoset Toolbag and texturing in Substance Painter. In this assignment i tried to push myself to the limit on the complexity of the character for the time limit of 5 weeks we had so as to improve my skillset. I hope you like it :)

And as you turn to take a last glance at the overwhelming amount of tomes living in these ancient shelfs, there you see it, watching you… and it does welcome you.
It was such a great project to work on! It was tons of fun to work on a complex character and make it game ready! The task was really challenging since this is the first attempt at a complex character in stylized style but I really love how it turned out. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
