Scene made in 3DS Max using 3 Particle Flows of 3 different meshes : Grass, broadleaf cattail and a flower. I did 2 different meshes for the grass, added a cut in the center to bend each grass in an opposite direction. This way it’s nearly impossible to see the faces from above. In the Particle View, I used a data operator (Event) with Matrix operands and Quaternion rotation in order to align particles to the normals of a sphere. Very useful to scatter objects on an uneven surface. Still working on automated body scans (this time from @itseez3d) reprocessing. ( There are more! ) The noses are still bothering me, and I fear I’ll have to include a manual step in my scripted workflow to keep more geometry on the face than on the body. 1500 triangles models, 1024px albedo and normal maps.
