I stumbled across an amazing concept of this bugbear by Jaemin Kim and thought it'd be the perfect opportunity to make a full character from a concept. I started by sculpting the whole body in ZBrush and then retopologized using the Zsphere tool. I then went on to unwrap him in 3ds Max, texture him in Substance Painter, finally using Maya to rig and do the simple breathing animation. Stylized female character based of Margana’s ilustration from her DTIYS challenge, obciously i was too late for the challenge giving the fact that it was 3 months ago, but still i liked a lot the style of the character and wanted to give it a try.
I took this as a personal challenge to pose the character in Zbrush instead of taking a lot of time rigging it in Maya, i liked a little bit the result, but i do need to keep practicing. As well as i didnt want to take a lot of time in Texturing, so i kept it pretty basic 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 51095 polygons.
