In the late 80’s, Nissan decided to create a small lineup of retro styled cars: The Pike Cars. That line up was based on the K10 Nissan March and featured mostly March-y running gear. This one is different, altho sources vary a lot on what is it based on, the Nissan S-Cargo featured a 1.5L Inline-4 engine and a 3 speed automatic, in contrast to the 1.0 and 1.2L inline-4 engines of the other Pike/March models. The S-Cargo’s design was heavily inspired by Snails and by the Citröen 2CV Fourgonnette. The name is also a play on the french word for Snail: Escargot. This model consists of a base S-Cargot, and OEM optionals such as a Canvas Top, foglights, parking sticks, running boards, mudflaps and side trimming.
