It is primarily used in general service in Czechia and in Germany on the München-Nürnberg Express line. This model was originally made as an asset for the game Cities: Skylines. There are some minor simplifications to the texture and model to keep it optimised for the game. This model includes a 3-car variant of the Skoda Dosto, although its real-life counterpart is 6-cars and re-uses the middle car. Testing my train-rig with an animation on an unrealistic curve (the curve is a bit to sharp, train would crash in real life). I’m not 100% happy with the rig but so far it works well , the axes recognize the animation path, steering works and everything is on rail. Next, I’ll create the rig for the wagons and add some tire rotation. A some concept of double-decker train (not a real model). Suitable for games, haves 4k texture. Dimensions based on 1524 mm rails tracks (Russian standard), but final wide of car turned out half a meter narrower. So on standard station passengers probably will fell down between train and platform when boarding.
