Character concept based of a rice farmer that had to take up arms and defend his land. Look and feel of the design based on Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. This was an exploratory project to go through a Maya-Marvelous Designer-ZBrush work flow. Base character and props modeled in Maya, clothing created in Marvelous designer, sculpted detail in Zbrush, tetxured in Substance Painter, rendered using V-Ray, and composite done using Photoshop. Children are scared of the odd grandpa’s scars in the beginning but are soon attracted by the heroic stories he told when forging. The
Blacksmith met the ones from the future several times when he was a soldier, even though they do not have direct communication, the
blacksmith still remembers how the future people look like, especially the dressing style. The stories and influence were left in his mind

Project “Gipsy Danger” from the famous movie and anime franchise was one of my final year projects in uni, where we were told to select any Mecha character to our liking and then try to recreate as closest possible to the actual reference. The whole model was created from scratch from the model itself to the texture.
This project was fully done with the use of Maya when it comes to the modelling and animating process, but the texturing process was done with the use of Substance painter 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 110666 polygons.
