A 14th century farmer using a heavy plough pulled by oxen. I was approached by BuildersBrew to create a small diorama of a Medieval Farmer ploughing the fields, this was based off of some references provided and is to be used within the immersive mobile app for The Chester House Estate. Conservation with the overall tricount, texture space and alpha usage in the project was important to make sure the model could load well in the application, the texture for the character was 4k for this render however this was reduced to 2k in the application and the overall tricount came in at around 70k for the whole project. Did you know? Over 3 years ago, when I uploaded this decimated raw scan, Sketchfab did not have any restrictions for texture size (or at least none I can remember). Consequently, when the new 8k texture limit kicked in, my singular model was automatically split into 4 chunks (judging by the current number of UVs), to accomodate the lower resolutions. Therefore, the orginal texture must have been 16k (to be confirmed if the original project file is to be uncovered) 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 1499999 polygons.
