Casca a ajuns să fie produsă de industria românească și a fost păstrată în uz până în anii 90. (la începutul perioadei comuniste a fost înlocuită cu modele sovietice, dar a fost re-introdusă în 1973, cu modificări, datorita distanțării de URSS).
