The Tower of Hercules (Spanish: Torre de Hércules) is an ancient Roman lighthouse on a peninsula about 2.4 km (1.5 mi) from the centre of A Coruña, Galicia, in north-western Spain. Until the 20th century, it was known as the “Farum Brigantium”. The Latin word farum is derived from the Greek Φάρος Pharos for the Lighthouse of Alexandria. The structure stands 55 metres (180 ft) tall and overlooks the North Atlantic coast of Spain. It was built in the 1st century and renovated in 1791, and is the oldest lighthouse of the world.
There is a sculpture garden featuring works by Pablo Serrano and Francisco Leiro.[2] The Tower of Hercules is a National Monument of Spain, and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 27 June 2009.[3] It is the second-tallest lighthouse in Spain, after the Faro de Chipiona.

Made this floating island with a lighthouse in 5 days trying to be done by the end of the week. And I gotta say, this was a marathon. Were a lot of troubles with baking, making fine details. If I had more time I would probably did separate bakes, but not this time. So, about the model: it’s a handpainted lowpoly with baked map from a highpoly. Triangles count: 27,5K. I was going with anime style (Miyazaki movies) and for reference I used artworks of Jim Shore (“Benatrex - Shorelights”), you’ll notice the lighthouse that I recreated.
