This project stems from my passion for the One Piece anime series.
Among all the enemies encountered so far, Gecko Moria was one of my favorites so I decided to make a model for 3d printing, later wanting to share it on multiple platforms, the topology was reduced in order to obtain a baking of the details, the textures maps and a lower polycount.

So here is my first character almost fully sculpted on blender 2.81. It took me a few days to figure out how to represent Kaido on a 3d aspect. I took a basic draw of kaido and started sculpting with it in my background. The sculpting was done by mouse and I would say I worked on the model probably 10 hours in total.
The character has no scar on his body, let’s say this render is representing him before he got it :)
I was mainly focusing on making the best possible Kaido model using my skills, that’s why the background ( representing Onigashima, the residential island of Kaido ) looks this bad.
