My rendition of the Halberd-class Destroyer from Halo. I may/may not texture this. The Halberd-class destroyer is a heavy escort classification in the UNSC Navy. It is best suited to direct ship combat and assaults. Also known as the Thanatos-class, the Halberd is a surprising ship, and very superior to Frigates in ship-to-ship combat. Her armor is thicker than even a Paris's, she has two MAC cannons, more missile launchers, a number of auto turrets, and for all that extra weight is still fast and agile. Destroyers are often the first ships to engage the enemy, and can take on Covenant cruisers in small groups.
