(Picture taken in 1942) In 1892, at the beginning of the infrastructure of potable water piping, the city hall of Ibi (Spain) erected three monumental fountains that were placed in the main spots of the city. This one can be visited in “La Plaza la Palla" (Straw Square), it has an oval floor plan and in each one of the four sides there is a fish-tap where the water flows. At the top of the main column there is a little sculpture of a child holding a bird.
