My second personal project - A Friesian x Cob cross. Super happy with how it turned out and the many skills I learned along the way - I think my retopology and hair card skills are coming along nicely. Sculpted in Zbrush, Retopologized and UVed in Maya, and textured in Substance 3D Painter. For Ghosts who like to remember the oldest times
This 3D model was created for my college induction task, it took me two days with on-and-off work, and was heavily inspired by greek artifacts and sci-fi design, the golden ingravings were heavily inspired by the game Apotheon, as I used stencils from the art to create the engravings.
I wanted to prioritize texture work on this project, and large scale, detailed bits of art, and personally I feel like i’ve succeeded.
