This is my 3d interpretation of Tracer cute graffiti from Overwatch. Blizzard inspire me for a long time, so I decided to make this nendoroid style figure and than present it in sketchfab with PBR workflow. It was very experimental project for me. Hope you like it! Model of Asuka Langley the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion! Posed as she is in her official artwork – spunky and tsundere.
I wanted to do a chibi model of Asuka after working on the Mass Produced Evangelion character (also visible on my page!), and in the end I think she came out really cute! I like modeling cute things truthfully as well as figurative characters, so this project was definitely a lot of fun. It was once again a big learning experience though, as I really tried to work on things like facial topology, that anime-feeling style, and being painterly with my textures. I still have a long way to go of course, but this felt like a big milestone that I’m happy to have done!

Just a quick and dirty test - wanted to try a tutorial I found.
Basically moving the vert along the normals, flipping them and then UV mapping them to a dark colour.
