Cute kittens and fluffy pancakes based on an illustration by @hyemistudio Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get 100% into the illustration, but I tried really hard to make the best of it. In this work, I got to know the rig (putting the kitties in the appropriate pose for the illustration). Also, I tried to make this model with different settings of nodes and materials, which made the same model look so different You can check out this model out on my instagram. Princess Azula from Avatar: The last Airbender character model.
A personal project to further develop my learning at University and just aquire more knowledge with industry software. I started in Zbrush, retopologised in Maya, posed in Zbrush, baked and textured in Substance Painter. I am pretty happy with the outcome being my first character retopology and although there is a lot of stuff I would do different if I was to make it again, I believe it is better to take all the new lessons learnt onto my next project.
