I posted a medium-poly hydrant earlier last night and ended up being unsatisfied with the result. I knew I could do much better, so I decided to start from scratch and just make a proper high-poly version. I think this turned out very nicely!

Another short Substance Painter test. Used MeshLab’s Quadric Edge Decimation filter. Then did some minor clean up work and auto uved in Maya.
