I took the original artwork by Peyo (the Smurfs creator) and adapted to a 3D environment.
It was very fun to work with this art.
I tried to keep the artistic aspect (kind of handpaint with watercolor and paint brushes) with a low poly count, but also give a personal touch of realism to the scene.
I just miss the fuss of the Smurfs in the scene. Maybe someday I model one smurf and duplicate a bunch of them through the village to make it more fun.
