The 757-300, the stretched version, is the longest narrow-body twinjet ever produced. The 757 can be considered one of Boeing's most successful models. However, sales fell in the late 90s, causing production to cease. Demand for the 757-200 was continued, primarily due to its usefulness on routes between New York and Western Europe.
