This project is a fan art of the game: Sea of thieves. It was made as a learning material during my third year at Staffordshire University, it was chosen as a subject to improve my skills in creating stylized characters for video games, and to enrich my knowledge in the use of Substance painter for the creation of stylized textures. Princess Mononoke’s Forest Spirit.
3D bust started with Nomad Sculpt and contiued in Zbrush. Then, I texturized the bust in Substance Painter to get an old handmade wooden look & feel, with damage painting and moss, like a forgoten totem, idol, god figure. Also, I love the combination of blue epoxy resin with wood!
