This is a digital 3d model of a leather quiver attached to the character’s waist by a decorated belt. The leather is weathered and damaged, and it resembles being handmade, with rough stitches and clumsy carvings on the surface. Attached to the quiver there is a hunter’s knife, and hanging from a hook there is a rolled rope.
The design is well suited for medieval and fantasy settings, although is intended for modern or Steampunk. In the event of using the model for a medieval theme, it is recommended to remove or conceal the metal hook that holds the rope, since it’s a modern device.

We use our custom built and fully automated rig to capture the images generating the 3D Model. During the capture process the object is evenly lit to avoid any drop shadows. Cross-polarization method is used to get rid of specular lights. The object is also scanned from below to capture it from every side. Afterwards the scan is optimized with retopology work and uv-unwrapping to make it gameready.

Yes, this was a hell of a scan… it look me 10-15 minutes to walk the entire street. Shootout to @polycam app (@cpheinrich), that handled the capture from the beginning to the end of this 560 ft long scan (170 m.)!
