Trainstation bench inspired by the 1900’s travelling images. Base model was made in Blender, and textures were made with Substance Painter.
This model was created with high quality rendered images in mind, such as arch-viz projects, but can also be used for games or other projects. If you intend to use it in a game engine, please be advised that you’ll need to bring the polycount of the handrest part down because it has a lot of edge loops to control the curved shape.
Textures that come with this model are: base_color, roughness, and normal map (openGL). All in 4K resolution, so you can scale them down safely in any photo editing software, if you need lower resolution. For better resolution of the textures, this composition uses 3 different UV sets and materials. I saw this Train Engine once and was impressed by its sheer scale so much that I just had to model it.
I collected some reference material and started working on it, draw inspiration from a similar works from the game Metro Exodus
This work helped me get a deeper understanding of the Game pipeline.Followed all the necessary steps to fulfill the workflow of the actual video AAA game’s industry pipeline. I was responsible for creating the high poly ,low poly , uv’s and the PBR Texturing. had a great time to create this asset . Hope you like it !!!! Cheers
