This dogfood pellet was scanned using photogrammetry with a Sony A7RV through a total of 71 images. The images had 61MP and were processed in Reality Capture. Provided by me are PBR textures: Diffuse: 8k Specular 8k Normal: 8k Gloss: 8k AO: 8k and Highpoly + Lowpoly retopoligized models. In the preview above you can only see the lowpoly model with normals created from the highpoly model. All models are in separated files and game ready. So this is a little experiment I’ve been contemplating on, inspired by the food assets in Monster Hunter and Final Fantasy 15. I took photographs of an actual meal I cooked, and spliced them in Substance Painter with a few models I specially built from reference. Nasi Lemak is a traditional Indonesian/Malaysian dish, consisting of spiced rice, coconut milk/shavings, a portion of meat (chicken) and fresh prawns, sometimes accompanied by a fried egg. The hardest part was translating the lighting from Substance Painter to Unreal Engine, and I have recreated it as best as I can here in sketchfab.
