Fortune tellers always made they part in the circus universe and atmosphere. For this challenge i wanted to make a fan art / redesign of the anthological Fortune Teller / Wish Granter machine from the film “Big" (1988) in a sci-fi context, to fit in this intergalatic exibition! Zoltar's soul was eternally trapped in this futuristic machine, and the powerful oracle is always ready to grant you a wish. Glad to finish my entry for the #XPPenSculptChallenge in time! I scaled down this project so that I could focus on my sculpting and texturing skills (specifically faces/hair) and even though I failed to follow Carlos’ shapes, I’m very happy with the final outcome.

Since YuGiOh MasterDuel was released I instantly fell back in love with the cardgame I grew up with 😍 At first it was hard to catch up with the fastpaced playstyle nowadays, but its still a blast - no better way to pay Tribute than recreating the bossmonster of the deck I’m currently using ✌
The modelling was a very good practice for situations, where the references aren’t necesserily angled perfectly. This way, you definitely have to look at your model from all different angles all the time. But the project definitely deepened my love for creating Anime-Like / NPR Models iand give them my own touch.
