The inspiration comes from a cake I saw in a French dessert shop. I really love the pinkness, so I wanted to make a pink cake. The set is modeled in Maya, and rendered in Mari. Some textures such as the biscuit at the bottom of the cake and the plate patterns are made in Photoshop. The water bowl is a classic design inspired by the old enameled products of the Kockums brand, especially the yellow series with green edges that were produced from the 1930s to the 1970s.
