In this assignment we were asked to creat a WOW inspired weapon. I found this assignment quite challenging at first, I wasn't familiar with weapons and so coming up with a creative design that fit the brief took me longer than expected. However, in the end, I am pretty happy with my outcome. I chose a coral/deep sea theme for my weapon and thanks to this I was able to play around with lots of fun colors and the presentation. Hello, are two elementals I made together with Bert Suffys. It was part of a group project called Brimstone. The design, modeling and unwrapping was done by me, and Bert did the texturing. At the end I changed the textures a bit to make it look more fire-ish and ice-ish. I really enjoyed this, because it was a good opportunity for me to learn how to work together with other artists. Both textures are 1024 x 1024. Credits for the background go to Dustin Kane Billings.
