Kenbu is a close-combat MAILES (AMAIM equipped with I-LeS), built from scrap parts and piloted by Amou and the AI Gai. The combination of Amou and Gai gives this MAILES the performance and mobility that overwhelms other AMAIMs. I love this design so much that I have to make a fanart. At the moment when I made this, my model kit hasn't delivered yet so my best ref are picture and youtube review, I make some change for easier rigging and animating, hope it turnout good! This model was made for a college assignement in which a product had to be developed that could benefit people. I chose to create this arm as I belived it to be a feasable piece of technology that could realistically be developed in the near future. Initial ideas such as teleporters and hoover boots were considered to be too unrealsitic. Inspiration for this model came from YouTube and Instagram accounts featuring similar 3D work along with informative videos on the use and function of exisitng prosthetic arms. I wanted to create an arm that maintained the familair human form of an arm with full motions such as an adjustable elbow and five finger movements.
Modelled and animated in Blender.
Textured and baked in Substance Painter.
Set to accurate scale.
Ready for use in a game/animation scene.
PBR textures (AO, Base, Metallic, Normal, Roughness, Emission).

This model was made for a university project. The goal was to bake a high poly onto a normal map with the low poly under 30,000 plygons. form the MechWarrior BattleTech Universe. I made the low and hogh poly models in Maya, then added detail to the high poly in Zbrush before baking that onto a normal map in Substance Painter.
