This is an old personold school project created from a bunch of urban exploration pictures. The challenge on this project was to recreate the scene the most accurate possible to the pictures. !I use 3D max for modeling and Quixel, photoshop and Zbrush for textures. This one started out as a test on virtual horizon on Sketchfab, and as a challenge to test out a somewhat convincing ocean animation with geometry. Note that I am not satisfied with the ocean movement and am still working on it, but I think the sense of distance (8000m) and atmosphere works decently.
As an artwork the thoughts behind is simply to embrace nature, and to accept the notion that the absolute freedom is absolute loneliness.
