Made this piece based on concept art called 部落 Mönkhtsetseg by Crispy Mushrooms! This was done over the course of 9 weeks during the CGMA course: Stylized Character Arts for Games with instructor Weston Reid! The character blockout and sculpt were done in ZBrush, retopology in Blender and CozyBlanket, baking in Marmoset Toolbag 4, texturing in Substance Painter and 3DCoat, and finally rigged and animated back in Blender! The class was challenging, but I had a lot of fun and learned a lot! I’m super excited to apply what I’ve learned in future pieces! Here is the latest base mesh for my mecha SRPG game project. It is mainly based on Ball Joint Doll, in order to easily rig and animate for only having rigid body parts, also modular parts to create robots when developing and gameplay~
I tried AICG(stable diffusion) Textures for this girl and was glad to see it. I will go on with Mecha refer to muscle/insect/clothing/monster then level and UI, and think about gameplay/coding and story in the meantime.
