A short dogfight between Fokker Dr.1 and Sopwith Camel. The stylized plane model was part of an assignment of the Game Art course at DAE. I had a lot of fun creating the plane so I decided to make a short animation aswell! Modelled and animated in 3ds max, all textures were made in photoshop. My submission for the second GameArt assignment at DAE Howest. A lot of struggle in the design phase led to a lot of difficulties and mistakes. I didn’t think this would lead to anything good, but i stuck with the few things i had thought out and it came out pretty okay in my opinion. I learned a huge amount however and feel way more comfortable now going into the final assignment!
