Custom low poly character made from scratch for a fantasy scene. Influences taken from fantasy art from the 80’s-90s. Tried to keep the outfit rooted in reality while still being purely fantastical. High poly model sculpted in Marvelous Designer and Z-brush, texturing in Substance 3D painter. Rigging and anmimation were done in Maya using Advanced Skeleton, with a Motion Capture base taken using Plask. Tried to keep it as low poly as humanly possible while still making the details stand out. This model was created in 3ds max and retopologised with a turbosmooth modifier and the uvs was created in 3ds max and then the high poly detail was baked onto the model with substance painter.
