This is Harold, the otter. He was created during the 2015 Inktober by me in order to evolve a character day by day for a whole month. He's an otter, a monk and always slightly grumpy. This is my 3D interpetation of him, carrying a recent catch to the comfort of his den. He's made of 2184 tris which I would like to reduce one day since I created him pretty early in my 3D education. But finally he at least got a little scene he deserves to live in. I wanted to find a different kind of shape and texture language with this one. I made this model as a request from a person for 3d printing. I was given full freedom on making style for this model. The design was made like this to be more suitable for printing. I like this model, I think it looks super cute, and colors make it look like a candy. It’s a high-poly model which consists out of 17K triangles, cause I wanted to be as smooth as possible. I decided to do handpainted textures to get more cute and simple look.
