I drew inspiration from the recently unveiled Mars rover concept vehicle Nasa created, and from the lunar rovers Gavin Rothery (artstation.com/gavrov) created for the movie Moon. Originally I had wanted to animate it so that it folded down but after modelling and texturing, I just had to show it off.
