This project is a fan art of the game: Sea of thieves. It was made as a learning material during my third year at Staffordshire University, it was chosen as a subject to improve my skills in creating stylized characters for video games, and to enrich my knowledge in the use of Substance painter for the creation of stylized textures. The goal of this model was to practice using marmoset and quixel to make an asset similiar to one existing in a game to test my abilities, i chose to model the drilldozer (doretta) from Deep Rock Galactic. The game has a low-poly aesthetic and i wanted to try to make a more photoreal version and had to make some adjustments to the design to fit the change.
