Dressing Table inspired by the Victorian era, It comes together with a matching stool. Model was created in 3DSMAX, details added in Zbrush and 2048x 2048 textures created in Substance Painter. It is scaled to a standard human shaped dummy of about 180cm/5.9 feet. This piece is given a bit of a distressed look, different color layers including grey, white, eggshell and black were added to give it a modern spin. It is a static piece, shelves do not open, but there is a stylized mercury mirror to compensate for it. If you are looking for a piece that will accentuate and add character to your in game interiors or interior design presentation this Dresing Table would be a fantastic choice. I was told a really interesting fact about antique medical supplies from a teacher who taught me 3D art in the past. The reasons for a lot of medical supplies/furniture during this time being green is so that when blood sprays on this colour, it appears as black and is less confronting to patients. This is because mixing red and green together, the result achieved is a dark brownish-black colour.
The drawers and cupboards have functioning hinges and can be opened and closed to store all of your important medicines and supplies!
This asset was created for EDEN, the indie surreal horror game by Missing Mountain Dev. The game takes place in an Australian Manor post WWII and the Gold Rush. Drawing heavy influence from Victorian Era furnishings which were used to display wealth during this period.
