** Reuploading for smooth polygons A crate project in my Principles of Game Design class! I always call these “Dog Prisons” because they are always so confined and small. I picked this style crate because of geometric it was, I figured it would be easy. The first time I modeled it, it was extraordinarily hard, and took me days. This model was made for a university project. The goal was to bake a high poly onto a normal map with the low poly under 30,000 plygons. form the MechWarrior BattleTech Universe. I made the low and hogh poly models in Maya, then added detail to the high poly in Zbrush before baking that onto a normal map in Substance Painter.
