Earlier this week, in the dim light of an overcast evening here in the southeastern United States this tree became the subject of roughly 2 minutes of hasty video scraping with my iPhone.

Houdini was the primary tool used for all geometry work, baking and GLTF export for Sketchfab. The UVs were automatically generated and need more work, but parts of this look great to me so I’m posting it as yet another watermark.

Wooden trunk modeled and sculpted in Blender, textured in Substance Painter. Models were made with game engine performance in mind, so a lot of geometry is optimised for lower poly count. Mesh consists of quads and triangles.
For better texture quality, mesh has been divided into two UV maps, each with its own material assigned. Textures included: base_color, roughness, metallic, height, normal (OpenGL).
