This landscape was made entirely in VR with Gravity Sketch for a tutorial on my channel. It utilizes an original workflow of mine where I use Gravity Sketches volume brush to create convex shapes that can easily be converted into clean geometry with booleans.
Each material can inherently share the same gradient texture as well, but to make it presentable in Sketchfab I have baked a unique color into each material’s gradient. This model also works extremely well with decimation, and can still retain it’s form when decimated by 99%. So it’s not your standard model, but with some tweaking there’s a lot you can do with it :)

Went a little crazy with the surface tool in Gravity Sketch, but boy is it useful for making cross sectioned 3D models. [not to scale] mash up of a Beechcraft Bonanza and a Piper Archer (kinda sorta?) built without reference images. 5 months ago my first WIP model for this vehicle went up on Sketchfab. From this early WIP wireframe/curve network model, i’ve more recently worked on the NURB surface skinning.
