Not sure if this is animated or static, I was trying to go for a “looping Idle” sort of motion so you can really soak in the feeling of screaming across the desert in a podracer, rather than a specific segment of the story.
One major focus was getting this optimized to work on mobile VR, and I think I’ve done that reasonably well. Sufficiently detailed and should work fine as a background prop. All parts can be separated (at least in Blender). No welds.
8K image maps. Main parts are joined/grouped. Pivoted and parented limbs. The foot rods need to be put in place after an ancle roll. Constrains must be added if needed. Neck is not rigged, but should be easy to do for a slight bend of the tube. Hope you like it.
You can rig the neck with let’s say 4 bones. Then you avoid intersections of the tube’s ridges when bending.
