3d model of a real life linothorax, weighting over 40 pounds! Model has been made to be used in the mod Imperium Surrectum for the game Rome TW: Remastered. This was the very first project i made while actually understanding how the PBR textures interacts with each other. Also, textures on this particular model were “handmade" using photoshop. The 3D model presents a digital reconstruction of solid and riveted rings of archaeological mail armour. To create 3D models of the rings, we used polygonal modelling functions of Blender software. In order to record the relevant measurements of the mail rings, we used a list of parameters. This list includes 11 parameters for a riveted ring and four parameters for a solid ring.
