Unearthed from the underground palace of Leifeng Pagoda in Hangzhou in 2001, it is 68 cm high. The Buddha statue has a high meat bun, spiral hair, slender eyebrows, ears hanging down the shoulders, and three silkworm patterns on the neck. Wearing a double-collared hanging cassock, the hem is covered with a lotus seat. Inside is a monk’s branch, and a silk belt is tied in front of the chest. The left hand caresses the knee, the right hand casts the Dharma seal, and sits on the lotus platform in knotted lotus. Under the lotus pedestal, there are Panlong columns, double-layer Xumizuo and square beds. The coiled dragon goes up around the column, holding up the lotus seat, and the column is embedded in the Xumi seat. There are two flame-style pot doors on each side of Xumizuo. Alkohiti is an ancient stone spout in the Lalitpur district of Nepal made at man-made depression. This 24/7 functioning spout was used to serve water to the surrounding area. There are about 389 stone spouts in the Kathmandu Valley, and the natural sources of 225 spouts have dried up in modern days. More than thousand years later, Alkohiti still remains functioning.
