This is another personal project I completed as part of a series of environment pieces I’ve been aiming to interconnect in a game engine. I wanted to focus on modular asset development to prep for larger projects in the future. I also got to try out some excellent terrain brushes that I recently purchased for ZBrush. I went for an aged Lighthouse as it appealed more to my style/sensibilities (clean is boring). I named this object a magic gyroscope as the overall artefact reminds the design of those objects yet the movements are made to remind those of stars and planets.
Both spheres are pierced on top and bottom so the model only uses 4 sides polygons.
I think the object would fit nicely into a fantastic story, as lore or decoration.
