Sci fi gun concepted by me. I’ve always loved the shape design of a p90 so I wanted to create a sci-fi looking gun using the same shape language. My little sister also love unicorns so when she saw I was stumped on my design she gave the idea of unicorn gun. I decided to run with the idea so I started concepting in maya using booleans. After a couple of designs I decided to go with this one. I modeled the gun in maya and then textured it using substance painter and photoshop. Hello! This is my entry for the #StorybookChallenge.
Since I was a kid I always dreamed of being an astronaut and I read a lot of books about space.
For this challenge I teamed up with my girlfriend, who is a professional childern’s book illustrator, to recreate my desire to touch the stars.
With this entry we wanted to pay homage to all the authors and illustrators that make all the childrens dream big with their books.
All the modelling was based on her illustration, created on Maya and then hand painted on Substance Painter by me.
