The mesh uses four texture sets, all at 4096x4096 resolution, with the following maps in use: Base Color, Metallic, Roughness, Normal. The base color map contains the transparency information. There is an optimized, One Mesh version which has a lower polycount, 26,022 polys per shoe. We use our custom built and fully automated rig to capture the images generating the 3D Model. During the capture process the object is evenly lit to avoid any drop shadows. Cross-polarization method is used to get rid of specular lights. The object is also scanned from below to capture it from every side. Afterwards the scan is optimized with retopology work and uv-unwrapping to make it gameready.
