Hi everyone, this is my fanart of Hoshino Ai from Oshi no ko. I made this model to celebrate the anime’s premieres on 12th April 2023.
Something about Ai attracts me, maybe she’s very cheerful, that’s why. Ai is a 16 years old idol and I shall not spoil the story by revealing too much. You guys just have to read the manga or watch the anime to find out.
Hope you guys like this fanart as much as I do. I want to stand outside my comfort zone by modelling the environment together with the character. I modeled this from the ground up to be a mix between the Lazer’s more quirky elements such as the perculiar placement of the airbrakes and the F-16’s characterisic shape and details such as the bubble canopy. The Model was built and animated in Blender while the textures were made using GIMP.
