A model of a jeweller’s piercing saw, typically using for cutting out fine intricate work in conjunction with something called a bench pin. The blades are typically very thin and formed into a spiral which enables them to cut in any direction. I made this for rendering, so the meshes and UV’s are not perfectly optimized.
I didn’t use any purchased assets for this, so everything is modeled by me.
Shaders were almost all procedural originally. I baked them into bitmap textures with Arnold.
