My Wild West cowboy is finally finished and I absolutelly love the result! It took me some time to get this as perfect as possible, especially the colours were quite the challenge with this one. For my final assignment character creation I went to the whole pipeline from high poly sculpt to a game-ready, textured model. This is the first version of a cow character I am currently working on. Its for a low poly game my buddy and I started to develop last week. I will show further versions of this character as well as additional models here on sketchfab.
Here’s my process using blender: I box modeled the body, the arms and the head as separate objects and smoothed everything with the subdivison surface modifier. For the texture I used a wacom tablet in combination with blenders texture paint mode. I have no experience with texture painting, but I’m quite happy with the first result. I merged all objects and rigged the character in T-pose.

The original structure was built in 1904 according to the design of the architect Nikolay Zhukov and has undergone some reconstructions since then. It was also sometimes called “Tatar Mosque” because its congregation consisted mainly of ethnic Tatars. Socially, the Moscow Congregational Mosque was often viewed as the central mosque in Russia. It was one of the four mosques in Moscow.
The old mosque was demolished on 11 September 2011. The decision to demolish it was controversial.[1] In June 2008, the mosque was recognized as an object of cultural heritage, however, in the end of 2008 it was removed from the list of historical and architectural monuments.
A new mosque has been built at the site of the former one. It was officially inaugurated on 23 September 2015.
